A digital vitrine for the people, places, and practices shaping contemporary cultural life in Paris.

I moved to Paris as a founder, but Paris also became the place where I discovered a much wider curiosity: how culture is created, inherited, recognized and shared.

I write stories about what passes from one hand to another, from one generation to the next. How a place leaves its mark on how we live. I explore the histories, encounters and influences that gather over time to form a cultural life — and the people behind it all, quietly shaping what we experience and desire in the years to come.

I especially love exploring all of this through recognition, that moment when you understand what matters, and why it is important to share it now.

Paris is the register for all of it.

A city where succession and reinvention live side by side, and where the question is rarely whether the past should survive, but how it can be carried forward with justesse.

Leslie Kwan

American cultural entrepreneur, author, and harpsichordist Leslie Kwan has built an international career spanning the arts, luxury, and nonprofit sectors. Her professional journey includes roles in sales at CHANEL and in marketing and strategy at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She has also founded a French baroque orchestra and developed chamber music series for major cancer and pediatric hospitals in both Boston, MA and London, UK.

Her most recent work was in publishing, where she authored a book with one of the world's largest publishing houses.

That range of experience — across countries, luxury fashion, classical music, institutions and storytelling became the foundation for curating: PARIS and the particular way she looks at cultural life in Paris and beyond.
